Daniel A. Kamkar's practice focuses on worldwide patent prosecution and portfolio management, patent infringement and validity analyses, freedom to operate analyses, USPTO proceedings, and general IP licensing.

Daniel currently assists various clients in a wide range of technological fields including pharmaceuticals, clean energy, polymer sciences, lasers, and other areas of chemistry and physics.

Daniel received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, where he worked in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and the University of Washington’s Technology Transfer Office (CoMotion).

Before attending law school, Daniel earned his M.S. in materials chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he researched organic semiconducting materials used to form LED's and solar cells using atomic force microscopy, photoluminescent spectroscopy, and ultrafast spectroscopic techniques.
