Dr. Mandana Toosi is an experienced Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and is currently completing her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at The LodeStone Center. She provides the majority of her services out of our Chicago office downtown.

Therapeutic Focus & Approach:

Dr. Toosi works from a predominantly Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) modality, though is trained in a variety of additional therapeutic approaches. She works with adults and couples struggling with a wide range of issues, though specializes particularly in issues around trauma. She holds a specialty certification in the treatment of psychological trauma and integrates her expertise into her couple’s work. Dr. Toosi also maintains a niche specialty in working with mid-life and end of life issues, including terminal illness, from a humanist existential framework. Given her close connections with nearby hospital systems, Dr. Toosi routinely gets referrals for medical students, resident physicians and medical doctors in need of support as well.
