John M. Foy knew he wanted to create a law firm that was truly different. In 1999, he founded John Foy & Associates on the core principle of treating clients and employees the way he would want to be treated: with respect, open communication, and personalized, superior care.

A Wisconsin native and educated in Ohio, John followed his sister and brother-in-law—his mentors and also attorneys—to a career in law. He made it to the South as fast as he could, relocating to Atlanta after law school and admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia in 1993. Since then, John has devoted his career to personal injury cases, helping victims of others’ negligence get the justice and financial compensation they deserve. 

John proudly calls Georgia ‘home’ and loves serving the people of Atlanta. When he’s not working, John enjoys everything our amazing city has to offer: trying the latest restaurants, rooting for the home team at professional sporting events (pre-COVID, of course), staying active outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
