Education and Training
He received his DDS and MS in Endodontics from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He practiced as an Endodontist in Tehran for four years and earned board certification in Endodontics before coming to the United States. He then completed his second Endodontic residency training and Masters in Oral Biology from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Dr. Nosrat is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

Awards and Recognition

He was recognized by the Tony Michael Ponti Memorial Award from the University of Maryland for excellence in clinical Endodontics. After graduation, Dr. Nosrat continued his involvement in research in the field of Endodontics. He is now collaborating with several research groups nationally and internationally. Thus far, Dr. Nosrat has published forty-one articles in the field of vital pulp therapy in immature teeth, pulp regeneration, and root canal anatomy in high impact journals like Journal of Dental Research, Journal of Endodontics and International Endodontic Journal. On 2018, Dr. Nosrat was selected by the Editor of the Journal of Endodontics (JOE) to serve at the Scientific Advisory Board of the JOE.
